Fader remotes
The Ashly FR-16 is part of the category fader remotes of Ashly. These fader remotes are available in 8 and 16 channels. The communication will take place over a ethernet network. The advantage of this is that multiple remote units can be connected to a single host device. It also gives more flexibility as it uses a regular network cable.The fader remotes, depending on the model, will have 8 or 16 channels. The channels uses a fader to change the volume. A master fader control the sound overall. Each channel also has a led button that can be programmed as a mute button or a A/B source selector. The button above the master fader mutes everything.Each fader remote can be configured separatly to control a input gain, output gain or a mixer gain. It is also possible to place upper and lower limits to each fader. This makes it possible to let untrained personal to make adjustments to the volume within a curtain limit.
Ashly FR-16
The Ashly FR-16 is a 16-channel fader remote. The fader remote can be used in a ethernet network. With it you can control all Ashly devices that are connected to the network and have a DSP on-board.To connect the FR-16 to the network you can use a RJ-45 connector. It is also possible to use Neutrik's etherCon. If needed it is also possible to lockout the faders by using the contact closure on the backside of the remote.The FR-16 is ideal for sound systems in conference rooms, courtrooms or other applications where simple but programmed real-time level control is required.
