Contacta HLD2 hearing loop driver
The Contacta HLD2 is a hearing loop driver and part of the
HLD series. This hearing loop driver is meant for contact between two persons. The HLD2 is used in a counter system, together with a microphone and a hearing loop.
One on one
The HLD2 is meant for use in a one on one induction loops, specifically targeted to one user. This innovative hearing loop driver powers the loop, that can create a magnetic field, which a hearing aid can pick up. When someone speaks into the microphone of the counter system, the hearing aid wearer can clearly hear it. This way, the induction loop improves the communication and thus the customer service and customer experience.
Strong in its simplicity
It's very easy to install the HLD2 and the system is equipped with self-diagnosis. Through LEDs, the system indicates whether it's on and if signal is coming in and/or going out. When inactive, this efficient amplifier puts itself in standby. The HLD2 has Automatic Gain Control, compression and noise reduction. This makes it possible for the counter system to deliver high quality sound reproduction for the hearing aid wearer.
Applicable to various counters
The HLD2 is designed for use on top or underneath counters. This makes this hearing loop driver very suitable for use in, for example, banks, post offices, supermarkets, theatres, information centres and airports.
Complete counter system
Contacta offers various products to use in a counter system, together with the HLD2. As a microphone, the STS-M72 can be used, or the less noticeable STS-M70.
