The T-audio MP-101 internet radio provides access to over 20,000 stations, with the ability to replay broadcasts and podcasts, and save up to ten favorite stations. To play MP3, AAC(+), WMA, WAV, or FLAC music files, the radio can connect to a USB stick or hard drive or to a computer on the local network. Thanks to Universal Plug & Play media sharing, users can navigate through shared media libraries and search by tags such as artist, album, and genre.
With DAB/DAB+, the MP-101 offers a wide range of digital radio channels, allowing up to ten favorite stations to be saved. The FM function, with Radio Data System (RDS), also has the ability to store up to ten favorite channels. Additionally, the MP-101 features Bluetooth, a Remote APP, and an Aux input for external music sources such as MP3 players. Spotify Connect allows users to stream their favorite music effortlessly.
Easy to use
The T-audio internet radio features multiple network profiles, making installation in various settings easy. Upon initial startup, an installation wizard guides the user through date, time, and network configuration. The large 2.7-inch LCD screen makes navigation simple and provides all the necessary information with text and status icons. Through the various menus, users can select functions and music sources and adjust settings as needed.
The standby mode displays time, date, and any active alarms, with multiple alarms available for simultaneous use. The MP-101 also has a snooze and sleep mode: during playback, the device enters standby after the set time, or it can be set to turn on at a specific time. During playback, the screen shows information such as date, signal strength, source, radio station, artist, and song title. The menu is available in thirteen languages, including English, French, Spanish, German, and Dutch, allowing every user to easily operate the internet radio.
Requirements for using all functions
The T-audio MP-101 internet radio requires a 230-volt AC power supply. For internet radio and network streaming, a wired (Ethernet) or wireless (WiFi) connection is necessary. To play music files, the MP-101 needs access to a network library or a USB storage device. Included accessories are a 2.4G antenna, an FM antenna wire, an AV cable, a power cord, and a remote control. The remote functions similarly to the buttons on the device itself. The radio includes connections for Ethernet (RJ45), audio output, headphone output, line-in, and line-out.
