Usage
Depending on the project, the choice of control method varies. For environments like schools, cafeterias, or waiting rooms, it's often best to keep controls simple, catering to users with varying levels of expertise. Examples include wall panels with volume controls and basic output options.
Faders are commonly used in spaces where more control over incoming and/or outgoing signals is desired, such as in churches, foyers, or small theaters. An iPad can control a device via a web interface or specialized software.
Installation
ach control type has its own installation method. Many wall panels are mounted on or against the wall. In contrast, fader remotes are typically installed in a rack using optional rack mount kits or placed where they are easily accessible. An iPad, being wireless, can be used flexibly but is often mounted on a wall to prevent misplacement.
