RCS Series

The Penton RCS8/T is part of the RCS series of Penton. The RCS series are round ceiling speakers that can be used in any 100 volt sound system. With a discreet design and the use of high quality materials these speakers are ideal for back ground and speech applications. These speaker can be used for example in shops, schools, hotels, offices and restaurants. The color of these speakers are white (RAL9016).

The Penton RCS8/T

The Penton RCS8/T is a 10 watt ceiling speaker. It has a RMS of 10 watt. As the speaker is supplied with a transformer you have the ability to tap the speaker at 10, 5, 2.5 or 1.25 watt. The SPL of this speaker is 94 dB with a frequentie range of 65 Hz to 17 kHz.It is also possible to install these speakers inside rooms that have a high humidity as it has a IP rating of 21. If needed,  you can also install these speakers inside clean rooms. For this you would need a speaker cover. The speaker cover is optional.In short, these speakers can be used in many applications.

Installation

To install the speaker you would need to make a cutout in the ceiling tile of 238 millimeter. When the cutout has been made you can install the bracket and fasten it to the tile. After that you can attach the speaker to the bracket on one side. This leaves plenty of room to connect the speaker to the sound system. After the speaker has been connected you can attach the other side of the speaker to the bracket and gently push the speaker home in the bracket.
