SoundTube CM82-BGM-II-WH loudspeaker
The SoundTube CM82-BGM-II-WH is a white 128 Watts in-ceiling loudspeaker and part of the CM-BGM series. This coaxial two-way loudspeaker offers mid-range clarity with added bass response and is very easy to install. The built-in 64 Watts transformer enables application in 25, 70.7 and 100-volt sound systems.
Maximum efficiency and fantastic performance
The CM82-BGM-II-WH is a coaxial two-way loudspeaker which delivers maximum efficiency across the entire operational bandwidth. The driver is equipped with a 8-inch polypropylene woofer with a butyl rubber surround. By combining this with a 1-inch silk dome tweeter in a drawn steel backcan, this loudspeaker delivers a frequency response of 55 Hz – 22 kHz in one housing. The 128 Watts loudspeaker offers a 89 decibel sensitivity and 16 ohm impedance.In addition, the BroadBeam Ring technology ensures mid-range clarity and fantastic performance. The CM82-BGM-II-WH loudspeaker is equipped with a 64 Watts transformer with six positions for 25, 70.7 and 100-Volts settings and a bypass option. This is easily adjusted using the easily accessible tap switch. The loudspeaker has a tuned port on the front for added musicality and bass response down to 55 Herz.
Simple and invisible installation
The high-quality finish of white paint and the painted steel grille ensure lasting durability. The seamless grille is magnetic, so the loudspeaker is also available in every other RAL colour and therefore fits into any interior. The grille is also optionally available in black. Thanks to the constant-tension fixed-wing mounting system, the loudspeaker can be installed almost completely invisibly into the ceiling or wall. For quick and secure installation the loudspeaker is, as a standard, supplied with accessories: a full-metal tile bridge with a 21-gauge cross-section, a UL- listed flex conduit clamp and a paint shield. For extra ease of installation, the tile bridge is provided with (green) colour coding.
Perfect for paging and background music
SoundTube CM82-BGM-II-WH has been specially developed for paging and background music applications where an excellent price-quality ratio and efficient fit are paramount. The loudspeaker is designed for installations where high-efficiency, added bass response and quick installation are important. For applications requiring additional bass response, the SoundTube CM1001d-T-WH subwoofer can be combined with this loudspeaker. The in-ceiling loudspeaker can be installed in ceilings and walls with a material thicknesses of 0.9 to 1.6 millimetre. This makes this loudspeaker perfect for use in, among others, the following applications: boardrooms, hotels, churches, airports, education, restaurants, retail stores and hospitals.
Other wattages in these series
In the SoundTube CM-BGM series, three similar white in-ceiling loudspeakers are offered. The CM52-BGM-II-WH, CM52s-BGM-II-WH and CM62-BGM-II-WH have a wattage of 40, 100 or 128 and a built-in 20, 32 or 64 Watts transformer. For extra convenience, the CM52s-BGM-II-WH has an extra shallow backcan, which means that it can be used specifically in applications with limited plenum space.
