Bodet Mel-IR2-IN sounder
The Bodet Mel-IR2-IN is a sounder and part of the Melody series. With this white sounder with two flush mount loudspeakers, messages and melodies can be played.
Announcements and melodies
This amplified sounder can be used for scheduled ring tones to indicate lesson, work and pause times and during emergency procedures. It can broadcast pre-recorded lockdown messages and play up to sixteen stored digital MP3 melodies, these are saved in the internal memory of the sounder or on a Bodet SD/SDHC memory card. The sound level of the integrated amplifier is adjustable for each device, for every melody.
Super simple
The Mel-IR2-IN consists of two flush mount loudspeakers and a controller. Both have an
IP30 indication. This code means that the sounder is protected against objects larger than 2.5 millimetres. The sounder is equipped with an LED that indicates whether the device is switched on. A second LED makes it very easy to see whether the device makes a connection (via DHF) with the master clock. The straightforward display shows which melody is being played.
Time distribution network
Within the Bodet Melodys series, a similar sounder with one loudspeaker is offered, the Mel-IR-IN. Both sounders can be controlled by a Sigma C, P or Mod master clock from Bodet, via a wireless DHF connection. Various accessories are offered for the Mel-IR2-IN within the Bodet Sigma series. For example, a DHF-transmitter and DHF-repeater. An Input card option card is also available for the Mel-IR2-IN, which provides the sounder with three external inputs. Bodet offers everything needed to realise an entire time distribution network. The Bodet product groups can be used for bell systems, lesson and working time signaling and indicating break times in, for example, factories, warehouses, logistic centres and (high) schools. Bodet's products can also be used to make every situation safe, such as a complete lockdown when a panic button is pressed or fully opening the building when a fire alarm is triggered.
