Contacta V34a PRO hearing loop driver
The Contacta V34a PRO is a very powerful hearing loop driver in the V PRO series. The Class-D amplifier is manufactured in the United Kingdom and designed to produce the best sound quality.
Powerful amplifier
The V34a PRO is equipped with both a balanced microphone input and a balanced line input. In addition, the V34a has two outputs with Euro block connectors, so that even for complicated loop systems only a single amplifier is required. The V34a supplies 12 Amps (RMS) and 34 Volts (RMS). The amplifier has excellent Automatic Gain Control, sleep mode and smart self-diagnosis. It is also possible to connect the V34a to the network since it has a LAN connection. This makes it possible to access the driver by using the local network. The V34a also monitors its own performance. In case of notifications it has the possibility to send out an e-mail alert.
The V34a PRO combines DSP with Class-D technology. Due to the efficiency of the amplifier, minimal heat is generated. There is a custom heatsink with temperature-controlled fan. The hearing loop driver is also equipped with thermal protection. In addition, a powerful processor gives peak power where needed, for first-class music quality and lifelike speech reproduction.
User friendly
While designing V PRO serie drivers, simplicity and ease-of-use have always been taken into account by Contacta. This means the V34a is uncomplicated to operate using the rotary knob on the front. The illuminated LCD screen on the front panel ensures that the settings are easy to read during configuration. It is also possible to do the configuration by using the network. The easy set-up takes you step-by-step through the configuration settings.
Ideal for large sized induction loop systems
Due to the broad coverage, the Contacta V34a PRO is very suitable for use in medium to large sized rooms. The V34a can be used freestanding or installed in a 19” rack, which makes application very versatile. This hearing loop driver is therefore ideal for use in, among other things, the following applications: sheltered homes, cinemas, conference rooms, houses of prayer, classrooms, theatres, meeting rooms, nursing homes and waiting rooms.
With an induction loop system, a number of factors are important for a properly functioning system. So it is not just looking at the amount of m2 when choosing the right driver. Matters such as the dimensions of the room where the system is to be installed and the materials present in the floor can possibly influence the magnetic field. This means it is very important to take as many variables as possible into account while choosing the right driver. To give more certainty it is also possible to do measurements on site. A suitable solution for spaces of all sizes
For use in somewhat smaller spaces, the Contacta V series offers the V7, V15 and V15a hearing loop driver. Larger areas can use the V PRO series of Contacta, which included the V22a, V34 and V34a.
