Contacta V22a PRO hearing loop driver
The Contacta V22a PRO is a very powerful hearing loop driver in the V PRO series. The Class-D amplifier is manufactured in the United Kingdom and designed to produce the best sound quality.
Powerful amplifier
The V22a PRO is equipped with both a balanced microphone input and a balanced line input. In addition, the V22a has two outputs with Euro block connectors, so that even for complicated loop systems only a single amplifier is required. The V22a PRO supplies 8 Amps (RMS) and 22,6 Volts (RMS). The amplifier has excellent Automatic Gain Control, sleep mode and smart self-diagnosis. The driver has a LAN connection. This means configuration is easily done by using the local network. Moreover, the driver measures its own performance and can send out an e-mail alert in case there are any notifications.
The V22a combines DSP with Class-D technology. Due to the efficiency of the amplifier, minimal heat is generated. There is a custom heatsink with temperature-controlled fan. The hearing loop driver is also equipped with thermal protection. In addition, a powerful processor gives peak power where needed, for first-class music quality and lifelike speech reproduction.
User friendly
While designing the user-friendly hearing loop driver, simplicity and ease-of-use have always been taken into account. This means the V22a is uncomplicated to operate using the rotary knob on the front. The illuminated LCD screen on the front panel ensures that the settings are easy to read during configuration. You can also connect the driver to the local network and use the step-by-step configuration set-up.
Ideal for medium and large sized induction loop systems
Due to the broad coverage, Contacta V22a is very suitable for use in medium to large sized rooms. The V22a can be used freestanding or installed in a 19” rack, which makes application very versatile. This hearing loop driver is therefore ideal for use in, among other things, the following applications: sheltered homes, cinemas, conference rooms, houses of prayer, classrooms, theatres, meeting rooms, nursing homes and waiting rooms.
With an induction loop system, a number of factors are important for a properly functioning system. Matters such as the dimensions of the room where the system is to be installed and the materials present in the floor can possibly influence the magnetic field. A suitable solution for spaces of all sizes
For use in somewhat smaller spaces, the Contacta V series offers the V7, V15 and V15a hearing loop driver. Larger areas can use the V PRO series of Contacta, which included the V22a, V34 and V34a.
