Contacta V34 PRO hearing loop driver
The Contacta V34 is part of a range of hearing loop drivers, called the V PRO series. These hearing loop drivers can supply medium to large size hearing loop systems with a signal. The V34 PRO has two balanced microphone inputs and a balanced line input. Euroblock connectors allow for swift installation. The amplifier can be used freestanding as well as inside a 19” rack.
The V34 supplies 12 Ampère (RMS) and a voltage of 34 (RMS), making it possible to provide up to 2400 square meters with a signal. This means the amplifier is very suitable for medium to large sized venues and ideal for use in, among others, congress halls and places of worship. The V34 PRO has outstanding Automatic Gain Control, sleep mode and smart self-diagnostics. Moreover, the device can be connected to the network due to the LAN connection. This makes the configuration simple and fast by using the local network. The V34 PRO monitors its own performance and has the possibility to send out an e-mail alert in case there are notifications.
The device combines Class-D with DSP technology. Thanks to the efficiency of the device, minimal warmth is generated. That’s why there’s no fan required, heat-sinks are used inside the amplifier. The device is also equipped with thermal protection. A powerful processor provides peak performance when needed, producing superior music and speech quality.
Control and configuration
Whilst designing the amplifiers, simplicity and convenience are continuously kept in mind. This makes the V34 PRO easy to control by using the dial on the front or by using the web interface. The adjacent backlit LCD display enables effortless monitoring of the settings during configuration. There is also the possibility to configuration the device by connecting it in the local network. Design and engineering
When it comes to a hearing loop system, a couple of factors are important in making a system functional.
