Contacta V15a+ hearing loop driver
The Contacta V15a+ is the most powerful hearing loop driver of the V series. The Class-D amplifier is manufactured in the United Kingdom and designed to produce the best sound quality. Unlike many conventional amplifiers, the V15a+ does not require a fan, but is equipped with passive cooling. This results in a quiet, light and maintenance-friendly product.
Powerful amplifier
The compact V15a+ is equipped with both a balanced microphone input and a balanced line input. In addition, the V15a+ has two outputs with Euro block connectors, so that even for complicated loop systems only a single amplifier is required. The V15a+ supplies 5 Amps (RMS) and 15 Volts (RMS). The amplifier has excellent Automatic Gain Control, sleep mode and smart self-diagnosis. The V15a+ combines DSP with Class-D technology. Due to the efficiency of the amplifier, minimal heat is generated. There is therefore no fan, but passive cooling inside. The hearing loop driver is also equipped with thermal protection. In addition, a powerful processor gives peak power where needed, for first-class music quality and lifelike speech reproduction.
User friendly
While designing the user-friendly hearing loop driver, simplicity and ease-of-use have always been taken into account. This means the V15a+ is uncomplicated to operate using the rotary knob on the front. The illuminated LCD screen on the front panel ensures that the settings are easy to read during configuration.
Ideal for small to medium-sized induction loop systems
Due to the broad coverage, Contacta V15a+ is very suitable for use in small to medium-sized rooms. The V15a+ can be used freestanding or installed in a 19” rack, which makes application very versatile. This hearing loop driver is therefore ideal for use in, among other things, the following applications: sheltered homes, cinemas, conference rooms, houses of prayer, classrooms, theatres, meeting rooms, nursing homes and waiting rooms. With an induction loop system, a number of factors are important for a properly functioning system. Matters such as the dimensions of the room where the system is to be installed and the materials present in the floor can possibly influence the magnetic field. A suitable solution for spaces of all sizes
For use in somewhat smaller spaces, the Contacta V series offers the V7 and V15 hearing loop driver, with a maximum coverage of 445 and 650 square meters, respectively. These amplifiers provide 5 Amps (RMS) and 7 or 15 Volts (RMS), respectively. Using the MBR1, MBR2 and MBR1-9 mounting brackets, one or more V hearing loop drivers can be installed in a rack, effortlessly.
