Contacta HLD5 hearing loop driver
The Contacta HLD5 is a hearing loop driver and part of the
HLD series. With this compact hearing loop driver, multiple hearing aids in one room can be supplied with a signal, making it possible for the wearers to hear music and speech.
Small, but powerful
The HLD5 can be used in a large area induction loop system, designed to be used by multiple hearing aid wearers in one room. The amplifier can even supply two hearing loops with a signal. It is easy to conceal this hearing loop driver, though, due to the compact size. Installation and setup of the HLD5 are very straightforward.
Complete solution
Due to the integrated Automatic Gain Control and HF compensation, the speech intelligibility and clarity of music are excellent. The efficient HLD5 is equipped with self-diagnosis and smart standby. An evacuation system can be connected with the hearing loop driver, making it a complete solution for hearing aid wearers.
Suitable for one or two loops
The HLD5 can be used in small spaces and can supply one or two loops with a signal. This hearing loop driver is very suitable for use in, among others, schools/universities, waiting rooms, care homes, theatres, concert halls, places of worship, offices and sports facilities.
Form an entire or larger induction loop system
Generally, to create a loop, an installation cable is used. If this cable is concealed in concrete, a protection from the chemical reaction of concrete is essential. This can be accomplished with a cable pipe. A readymade solution can also be found in the 2,5mm gauge DBC25.100 direct burial cable. This simplifies the installation and obviates the cable pipe. When dealing with an existing situation, it's often not possible to mill a lot into the floor. The CF1.9 flat copper tape can be used in these situations. Because of the de minimal thickness of this tape, it is ideal for use underneath, for example, carpets and laminate flooring. Warning Tape can be used. Looking for a hearing loop driver for a larger area, up to 700 square meters, choose the HLD7. The HLD9 can be used in even larger induction loop systems to a maximum of 1300 square meters.
